1. The First Days
The treated area must stay completely dry for the first few days. This is essential for the initial healing phase and proper pigment retention.
2. Moisturizing & Vaseline
• Eyebrows: Use Vaseline only if necessary—specifically if scabs form and you feel discomfort or tightness.
• Lips: Must be kept moisturized with Vaseline at all times throughout the entire healing process.
• Eyes (Eyeliner/Lash enhancement): Do not apply anything to the eye area. It will heal on its own; no additional moisturizing is needed.
3. Restrictions (2 Weeks)
For the next 14 days, the following are strictly prohibited:
• Saunas, swimming pools, and sunbathing (including tanning beds).
• Applying decorative cosmetics (including mascara) to the treated area.
• Hands Off: Do not pick, scratch, or peel off the scabs!
4. Active Ingredients & Skincare
Avoid applying products containing retinol, acids (AHA/BHA), or exfoliants (peels) to the permanent makeup area. Also, avoid microneedling in that zone. These ingredients accelerate pigment loss and fading.
5. Long-term Protection (SPF)
Once fully healed, it is mandatory to use SPF 50+ (or sunglasses for eye protection) whenever exposed to the sun. UV exposure causes the pigment to fade or shift to an undesirable undertone.
